An important part of the Shorebase are the clubs that are based here.
There are sailing,
canoeing and windsurfing clubs affiliated to the Shorebase.
Coquet Sailing Club
is also affiliated the RYA, and provides recreational dinghy
sailing opportunities for all members of the local community.
We operate at two levels one for adults and one for children (Cadets
section.) The Club provides supervised sailing and equipment for the
use of its membership at affordable prices, making the club unique in
the region, allowing access to dinghy sailing for those in the
community who do not have their own equipment, using both coastal and
inland venues.
The Club is open to everyone, supports people’s desire to sail at the
level that suits them, and gives them the opportunities and training to
expand their abilities.
A comprehensive Club programme is available for both adults and juniors.
