Raft building sessions for groups.
Well, you get 6 logs, 4 big blue barrels and a lot of string and it’s up to you to make a raft that you can paddle across the lake and back.
Each raft takes between 6 and 10 people and we can have up to 3 rafts on the water at one time.
It can be as competitive as you want it to – or just a way of building up water confidence and getting to know others in your team better.
With younger children, the instructors will help them to build the raft and go on with them to help paddle, but for adult groups the challenge is in designing the raft and working together to assemble it (tip: use Google; and come prepared.)
There’ll be a safety boat and safety kayaks on the water at all times and helmets and buoyancy aids are essential.
Wetsuits are also provided so you don’t have to worry about falling off the raft..
NB we don’t recommend having groups of children with a wide age range, as the younger ones often need a less competitive approach to the activity.
