canoesmile The Coquet Shorebase Trust is a community based charity located on the Northumberland coast at Amble.

We utilise water based activity to enhance the lives of people of all ages from 8 years old up over. As a charity we work with all sections of the community. A principle aim of our community activity is to help those who feel disenfranchised to develop the self confidence to become active members of the local community.

As a means to funding our charitable activity we provide water sports courses and training for all.

The Coquet Shorebase Trust has provided courses for over twenty years. But our history goes much further back.

We cater for all ages and we are registered with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.

We hope that you enjoy exploring our website and reading about what we do and what we offer. As an organisation and charity we are really please with our new responsive website which means that people can access our website just as easily on a smartphone or a pc.

The amazing thing is that the website is based on a free WordPress theme developed and created by a company based in Kathmandu, Nepal, the company is called Themegrill. The internet is certainly now the world wide web. If you are ever looking for a WordPress theme check them out.
